Hi this is England! England is located on the continent of Europe. There are many geographic features in England. Some of these contain The English Channel, The Pyrenees which are mountains, and the largest natural Harbor at Poole, England. England's form of government is Constitutional Monarchy. This means a king and queen rule. There was a mass exodus of Jews from England in 1290. This was because they were kicked out of England. Surprisingly the well known fried fish or fish and chips was originally created by Jews not by the British.
The following recipe is to make Fried fish and chips:
Ingredients Vegetable oil, for deep frying 4 large russet potatoes 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon baking powder 1 teaspoon salt, plus more for seasoning 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, plus more for seasoning 1 large egg, lightly beaten 1 (12-ounce) can soda water 1/2 cup rice flour, for dredging 2 (8-ounce) cod or haddock fillets, cut in 1/2 on an angle Malt vinegar, for serving Tartar Sauce, recipe follows
Directions
1.)Heat 3-inches of the oil in a deep fryer to 325 degrees F. Alternately, heat 3-inches of oil in a deep pot.
2.)Peel the potatoes and cut them into chips, about the size of your index finger. Put the potatoes in the oil. Fry the chips for 2 to 3 minutes; they should not be crisp or fully cooked at this point. Remove the chips with a spider strainer or slotted spoon, to a paper towel-lined platter to drain.
3.)Crank the oil temperature up to 375 degrees F.
4.)In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, and egg. Pour in the soda water and whisk to a smooth batter. Spread the rice flour on a plate. Dredge the fish pieces in the rice flour and then dip them into the batter, letting the excess drip off.
5.)Put the chips in the bottom of the fryer basket and carefully submerge in the hot oil. Carefully wave the battered fish into the bubbling oil before dropping them in on top of the chips. Fry the fish and chips for 4 to 5 minutes until crispy and brown. Remove the basket and drain the fish and chips on paper towels; season lightly with salt. Serve wrapped in a newspaper cone with malt vinegar and/or tartar sauce.
British Reformed Judaism dates way back to the 1840's.A reformed service in England would be very similar to one in america. There are morning and evening Shabbat services. Also festivals, prayers, and youth services. Some Synagogues have child services too!
One Jewish costume that the Jews do all over the world is make Charoset. In England Charoset is called river mud.

--------Shalom! My name is Jesse Boxenhorn. I hope you enjoyed my half of the wikki. I am a student at Temple Beth Torah and I enjoy taking my free time to study hebrew and Judiasm. For Passover my family and I eat lots of chocolate covered matzah as we listen to our little baby cousins tring to pronounce the 4 questions. I hope you gained some knowledge about England's Jewish way of life!
England has three neighboring states. These states are Scotland, Ireland and Whales. There is a big population is England. That would be approximately 57.5 million. People come and go each couple of years. The people in England speak with a British accent. An important historical event was that Great Britain declared war on Germany in 1914. This led Great Britain to World War Two (WWII). The population before WWII was 9.5 million and after WWII it was 45,000. Concentration camps still exist today that was prior to WWII and the Holocaust. Jewish Britain’s celebrate Passover by starting Monday evening. They also read parts of the Torah and the plagues. In addition, they eat Matzah like everyone else and that Moses freed the slaves from the Red Sea. Lastly, this is a special recipe from England…
3 tbsp curry paste (we used korma)
2 tbsp mango chutney, plus extra to serve
2 tbsp natural yogurt from a 150g pot (serve the remainder)
200g leftover cooked potatoes (roasted or boiled are fine), chopped into small chunks
250g cooked turkeys or chicken, chopped into small pieces
250g frozen peas
bunch coriander, chopped, plus a few leaves picked to serve
270g pack filo pastry (6 sheets)
4 tbsp vegetable oil
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp sesame seeds
Method
In a large bowl, combine the curry paste, mango chutney and 2 tbsp yogurt, and mix well. Fold in the potatoes, turkey, peas and coriander, then season well.
Heat oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. Cut the sheets of filo in half length -ways so you have 12 strips – keep the pastry covered with a tea towel while you work so it does not dry out. Layer up 3 sheets of filo, brushing a little oil between each sheet. Pile a quarter of the filling in the top corner of the pastry in a triangle shape. Fold the pastry over to encase the filling, then keep folding until the parcel is sealed and the filo is used up. Brush the final edge with a little beaten egg to help stick the pastry together. Repeat to make all 4 jumbo samosas.
